Magnificent building and prime location next to the Abbey.
Its a hotel - so it was a hotel bar experience. Greene King IPA was spotted next to the chosen North Cotswold Brewery Mild. Unusual to have a mild on.
Decent enough but nothing memorable.

Nice pub, nice food just lacks much choice of ales. Would recommend it if you are in town for a few days.

Greene King ale - wont say more than that. Its just a hotel at the end of the day but its ok if there are no pubs open. Needed a refurb when i was there.

Popped uo to Tewkesbury to see an old friend and we went here for lunch. Excellent pint of Abbot and very good cod & chips.

Looked into this pub earlier this year and it does feel like a hotel bar, which gave it a funny atmosphere and the beer was only OK.

3 good beers on hand pull. Other peoples food looked ok but the gammon I had was awash with grease.

In my view the best pub in town to eat at. More expensive than the average, but worth it. Interesting veggie choices. Very much feels like the hotel bar it is but this merges into a dining area. Beer is Greene King (Abbot, IPA plus seasonal) so not that exciting and served too chilled for my taste. One could have a pint at the Berkeley before eating here!
