The steakhouse didn't last long and the pub was closed for some time. But it doesn't want to die just yet. The new landlord is keen on his disco and karaoke set up. The pub is nice and clean and there was some pleasant singers (not Karaoke) on last bank holiday Sunday afternoon. Sharps Atlantic is drinkable enough but Doombar isn't going to pull in the real ale crowd. Support the pub or lose it again.

This pub changes more times than Beyoncé. Just been slightly refurbished again and is now a steak house. Steaks are a reasonable price but then it is competing with Wetherspoon a few hundred yards down the road. My steak meal was enjoyable. Beers on offer are Hobsons Town Crier and Old Prickly, neither of which was better than average. They have laid every table out for food which doesn't encourage wet sales. Try it and see.

Known locally as Oddies. Great selection of ales - Slaters Top Totty and Smoked Stout, Hobsons Town Crier, Ludlow Gold, and Salopian The Bends.

Re-opening on August 7th and about to become one of the best real ale and music pubs in Wellington. Watch this space.

This pub has now closed, likely to be redeveloped into flats

Still the 2 same beers on , good crack with locals and owners , a good pub .

As trenchlad says this place has reopened after a decent refurbishment. Some comfortable seating in the lounge area at the front along with a quiz machine, slightly more basic bar stools etc towards the back. The two handpumps were still selling Landlord and HPA so it doesnt look like theyre going to be selling changing beers. No matter, its a big improvement getting cask ale on at all. I tried a pint of the HPA which was fine. Its a pleasant little pub now and worth a visit. A bit of a culture shock going on around here, Wellington appears to be getting some decent pubs and boy did it need some more!

Nicely refurbished , single room pub with small side room with pool table . About a dozen customers friday afternoon , mostly teenagers with a couple old boys at the bar , nearly tripped over a badly parked pushchair on way in , not a good start . Barmaid was pleasant enough , two ales on tap Wye Valley HPA and TT Landlord , the HPA was ok . Seems a decent attempt to revive this pub will try to call again at night for a proper look .
