we went in september 2011 on our honeymoon, the staff were fantastic, the food was absoluteky amazing, a little pricey but it was more than worth it.
the location is fabulous and the town itself is lovely.
would defiately recommend visiting!!

Decent beer, staff, and food. Great location next to the bridge and locks. Very slightly pricey, but reflected by location.

Really more of a restaurant for the tourist trade than a pub but quite pleasant nonetheless. No complaints about the beer, the food, the service or the surroundings. Would certainly come again.

A very nice location opposite the Canal with Tables next to the canal.
I called here on a Sunny July Day in 2008.
I only stopped for one Pint but I enjoyed watching the Boat traffic on the canal so much that I found Bed and Breakfast nearby and stayed all day!

Our experience was completely the opposite of ETA's. Couldn't fault the place - choice of good beers on hand pump and excellent food. We tried the Lock Inn too and would be hard pressed to choose between them.

Don't bother coming here when the Lock Inn is so close. This place has barely drinakable beer and the food looked a bit dodgy. The locals aren't the friendliest either.
