Queens Head, Mereworthback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
This pub hasn't been changed into an Indian restaurant (don't really no how that on started???) it has been newly decorated and now has Harvey's as it's main ale, of which I have to say is very nice! Roasts on a Sunday are excellent and the people are lovely, only downside is not a lot of parking but we managed fine. Defiantly worth a visit.

Sadly I'm told this pub has now closed. Mereworth now has no pub at all.

Clean and tidy, bar staff friendly and welcoming. Harvey's Best and Sharps Doom Bar on tap. Tried the Doom Bar and it was a nice pint. Reasonable prices too. Well off the beaten track so nice to see it surviving.

Some people may remember this place in the days when it was run by Bob Shard, a landlord of the old school, and a bit of a cult figure. It's changed a bit since his day, but it's better now than it has been at times during the interim, Was a Sheps pub, but now a genuine free house, with beers as stated by mikey64. The Doombar was OK, too. Basically a locals' pub, and pleasant enough - but I don't think I'd go far out of my way to drink here.

Small front bar and larger restaurant at the back. Clean and in good order - probably looks better inside than from outside. Locals type pub but barmaid friendly and welcomed me as a stranger. Harveys Sussex and Sharps Doombar on tap - tried the former and pleased to report clear and in good nick.
