White Swan, Ashbourneback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Improved since last visit here a couple of years ago. Arty farty decor and clientele have disappeared thank goodness. Friendly and more welcoming than before.

Agree with the review below, it is the slightly smarter, more bar orientated version of the Vaults, with the same friendly staff and family members. Good for sporting events, with a few ales on tap as well. Glad to see it re-opened as a pub rather than another dead local enterprise.

This is now run by the landlady of the Vaults directly adjacent - they act as one pub split across two sites, wherein this is the lounge to the Vaults public. Much smarter inside, lighter and brighter, same range of Marston's beers, thogh the interior doesn't match the old-style exterior at all.

Well, this is a surprise...just re-opened again after more than 15 months shut...not been in yet, but will be interested to see how it does this time around.

Currently closed and boarded up.

Slightly disappointing with only one ale on tap, although well kept. Small seating area outside was welcome in the sunshine. This could be a great pub with a little work.
