have being to diceys a few times and if youre not expecting much you'll have a laugh! that said I still wouldnt pay to go in there so try to get down as early as possible!

You can cash your wages cheque behind the bar in Diceys which speaks volumes about it. A Connemara woman nutted my mate in there one night although that probably counts as foreplay in Galway as he still pulled it.

yes its a complete hole and your shoes stick to the floor but its a great laugh. if it was any different it just wouldnt be dicys and we wouldnt love it as much.
you know you are on for a session when someone suggests "how about dicys?"

Ok..so it was dirty..and a hole..but what great craic! If you wanna go out for the craic, dance to cheesy, irish or country music and pull an irish hottie (ok..leave out hottie) the dicey's is for you!

Ahh, Good old Diceys. It's a late night club/bar. A lot of my friends seem to go there. I've only ever been there twice and for a good reason. It's mingin'. Absolutely minging!! The stuff nightmares are made of!! The regulars arn't trusted to drink with glass bottles responsably, so nobody can take a drink onto the dance floor. The chicken shop next door serves the food through a bank security window, so the poor downtroden employee won't be beaten to death by an angry drunk local thug who is disputing weather or not he paid for a �1 bag of chips. It's easy to get a cab after, mind. Approach with caution..... ohh, and make sure THAT YOU are half cut before you go in there.

Sod the Galway Hooker - Its the ante room to Limbo. Head upstairs to Dicey's instead. Ahh Dicey's. Drinking Snakebites. Overcrowded kip. Shite music. Asshole bouncers. Beer soaked floor. Front row standing room to watch the weekly fights outside. Not a sober living thing in sight. And waking up the next day beside the girl you pulled there. All in all its a bloody great place.

Dirty Diceys, I unfortunately ventured further from my doorstep to try out this place and only found out that it was still dirty, blocked toilets, no loo roll, poor service and I paid to get in..why oh why?

diceys is the stuff of legends,so what if its a bit grimy, where else is better on a sunday night, plus its a bit of a myth about the trouble,if you dont look for it you won't find it. 10/10 Galway Hooker downstairs is pants though

Don't think much of the galway hooker but love diceys upstairs. It is a laugh, mixture of music and you usual see someone you know whether you like it or not.

Where to start??
This place is a dive, its for losers who cant be bothered to venture any further than their doorsteps!
Its rammed with the old "Ashtons" crowd.. who had to find a new haunt!
Weekly fights! doorstaff who are past it! this place is tiny, which means you cant avoid anyone! Its filty and drinks are WestEnd prices!
10 pounds entry fee for the pleasure!
(Irish National Anthem at the end of every night!!- Honestly!)

diceys is the best thing in the world! the drinks dont come cheap but you have the irish crowd the atmosphere is BRILLIANT even if your feet are sticking to the floor and your like sardines in the ladies!the old and cheesy musics the BEST esp when your drunk!

This is the biggest hole of a place you could expect to go to. A great meat market for the blokes but full of drunken losers so not much hope for the girls. Don your favourite " I am irish " t-shirt and boogie down to the same playlist of cheesy music every week. And try not to get bottled in the process- is very dangerous there-especially for the lads!

Nice Irish bar - club upstairs called diceys is a bit of a dive but its always a good laugh and the music is great. full of irish and there is always good craic after a gaelic game.
