Old Fire Station, Brentfordback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
This place is better than the Savoy-it has 22 Michelin stars.Lots of Hollywood celebs come here.I have seen Prince Charles eating here on many occasions, sometimes with the Pope. It also featured in a BBC2 documentary called "If Jesus was alive,he would eat here".

Me and a few friends visited this bar last night, lovely bar men and not bad looking either! place has had a make over so very nice and relaxed inside. Had a few cocktails, very nice and the barman was very experienced. Had some bar snacks which were tasty and a lot for your money. Its not cheap nor is it overpriced, i think its priced to keep in/out certain calibre's of people, good move in my opinion :)

A gang of us went to eat here - service OK, but food tasted as if it had come from Morrisons across the road. It was dreadfully overpriced too. Noise from bar downstairs prevented conversation. They wanted to charge us for 2 people who didnt turn up! None of us will ever go there again and are warning all our friends.

A few words - Learn to mix cocktails, and don't overload a cocktail with Ice. An old fashioned made with liquid sugar, no orange peel and a ton of ice which actually diluted the bourbon. Bar person not taking any care over the making. Charged 8 for the pleasure of an absymally made cocktail.
If you have to come here, stick to the basics. If you are looking for well made cocktails and attentative service head for Chiswick.
There are no shortage of excellent pubs in Brentford, and a decent cocktail bar would be good. This isn't it.

I can only repeat what Strongers said almost a year ago. The place was almost empty (i.e. two other people) when I went in on a Monday evening and I was forced to drink the Japanese lager. The place had its charms and, to be honest, there was nothing seriously wrong with it.

I was able to gain access to this late bar/restaurant early on a Thursday evening and I doubled the occupancy, but I was greeted by a very friendly manager.
The only draught available from the drinks mixology (their words not mine) was Kirin Ichiban, but there was an extensive selection of spirits.
There is a large fish tank and a plasma screen in the bar downstairs. There is also a restaurant area upstairs and some outside seating to the side of the building.
This place is more Central London than Brentford, but good luck to them anyway.

Tuesday afternoon, for the second time, I attempted to have a drink in here, but it was once again shut. The sign outside says that it opens at 12:00pm, but it doesnt.
Run by school boys or just my bad luck?
