Comfortable traditional pub, 2020 GBG entry. Beers are from the Banks'/Marstons range plus Thwaites Wainwright and Courage Directors. Good pint of Banks' Amber

Decent pub, nice atmosphere. Meals 2 for 10 are not too bad at all. 4 real ale offerings all from the Banks/Marstons stable - could do with a local guest ale. But seem well kept. Great Open Mic night with some quality talent.

A very atmospheric pub that would be one of the best in Shifnal were it not for the ridiculous behaviour of the landlord, who appears to have made it his mission to ban every decent person in town, sacks staff on a weekly basis and calls the police if someone so much as gives him a funny look.

I used to really like this pub as it has genuine character. However, I got put off it when the landlord was overly aggressive towards two decent-looking customers who were changing their baby's nappy (on a changing mat) with no-one else in the room; he was threatening to call the police etc! There is no baby changing facility in the loos so I couldn't blame the couple. If landlords don't want babies in a pub then put a sign up or deal with the issue courteously.

Traditional pub with oak beams and a roaring fire. 2 Banks's beers plus Hobgoblin and Ringwood Old Thumper when I visited. I had a pint of the Hobgoblin which was in fine fettle. There are loads of daily newspapers available for the punters to read as well which is great. A nice little pub. I'll call in again next time I'm in Shifnal.

Low ceilinged tradidional pub with two fires and a dart board. Banks' mild and bitter served with 3 decent guests upon my visit. Beer quality good.
