Service with a smile, both beer and food excellent and a nice atmosphere. When this place is busy it can be a little noisy but don`t let this put you off going and enjoying the experience. Thankfully the huge TV was not switched on while we were there. It is living proof that if you are good enough you can draw the crowds where ever you are situated

An incredibly noisy pub, be prepared to shout at your companions. Olde worlde, out of the way, but easy to find with an ordance survey map. Clean. A good varied pub menu. Be prepared to wait for your meals. We went on a saturday night, it was heaving, a large screen TV was on at one end and the footie fans were well involved vocally. There was just one lady serving at the bar and taking food orders. Only two overworked girls were serving meals & clearing tables. We waited over 20 minutes for our starters, but they were nice when they eventually arrived. We waited over 30 minutes for our main course, which was tasty and enjoyable, but the curry portion was stingy. We ordered dessert and again waited for over 20 minutes, when it still hadn't arrived we were not amused to see two other tables served their dessert before us yet they had ordered after us. We waited a further 10 minutes, then cancelled the desserts. Paid and left. If the long wait between courses were deliberate to make us consume more drinks, it does not work with us. The train noise gimmick is a giggle so long as you are not sat by a loud speaker, very painful on the old ears. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. More staff is definately needed. Yes we would go again.

Well worth the effort to find this place. Busy with people eating at a little after mid-day and with plenty of locals popping in for a chat and a pint. Good beer, teignworthy gun dog, and excellent well priced food brought to the table by an overworked gentleman who always seemed to make time for a few cheery words with the customers. On a wet day don`t expect to arrive home with a clean car!!

A real gem. Difficult to find (even for somebody living in Somerset) but well worth the effort.
Excellent well kept beers locally sourced. Deservedly popular.
Good job we arrived early - Thursday lunch time - as it was standing room only when we left!!!

If you can find it, well worth the visit. Unpretentious. It manages to be fairly basic to look at, and yet very relaxing and peaceful, with very friendly staff and really good pub food. Decent garden at the back for kids to run around in, too.

Well worth a visit, although a bit off the beaten track, Full of atmosphere, and great beers, food is fairly basic but good value.

I wasn't aware that the actual name of this pub is the Dinnington Docks, thought it was just a nickname, although I've never really been sure what the 'real' name is/was.
Never mind, an excellent pub, slightly off the beaten track, but worth going to.
Good beer, simple good value food and as said previously, always well attended. Has a some what eccentric feel to the place.

cracking traditional pub...very popular at all times.
good value food of a more traditional pub-grub style.
