Went in here last Sunday for lunch and was very impressed with the food and the service. Originally went to the Black Bull but they ran out of roast dinners by 1pm!! ( it wasn't even busy ) Glad the bull couldn't accomodate us as the food at the keys was outstanding, there was plenty of it and it was reasonably priced. The staff couldnt of been more helpfull and I'm looking forward to going again.

Downstairs is smart for a quick drink, with Tv's in seating booths etc.
The nightclub though - AVOID!

The Keys is OK but the DJ is a load of Rubbish and uses sayings such as "C your drinks of the dance floor" which help cover the mixing of the next record.

i really think that one of the glass collectors is cute. the music can be repetative and needs to be changed more often and mixed more (you no... thats what DJs do - mix the tracks, not sit on their arses he he). the food prices need to be a bit lower seen as the stardards aren't very high but the prices are. and i really think that....... the glass collector is cute he he

The keys yarm "claggy mat" named after people who spill drinks and stamp out cigarette ends on the carpet. Has been made larger with a dance floor the size of a on suite bathroom. Atracts fat people, and has 70's,80's and some modern music, people who go in here are either 12 0r 60. Don't bother if your in your 30's. People who come here are rude and pinch your dance floor space. This place sholuld be closed down and something of better taste built. Don't bother coming have a party at home and put your kylie cd on. veryyyyyyy poor qualty sucmmy crapy small nightclub who don't provide toilet paper or handwash.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all, the keys has been open for about 18 months now and improvements are still being done, alltho in my opinion i dont think it needs improvement. the keys is very classy, clean and well designed. in the building on the ground floor there is a lovley pub with great staff and a fantastic restaurant with great prices also wheel chair friendly. upstairs is very cleverly designed as there is a large nighclub and a small night club, the 2 can be joined together by the opening of a sliding wall(cool), they use this sliding wall to open the other club so customers dont get upset by being turned away, as the club fills rapidly. the 45,000 dance floor is spectacular(money well spent), the finishes to the whole building are very up market and the atmosphere is great, to any one looking for a party venue the keys is the place they arrange everything from limo's to food i rate this 9/10 as i think the drinks are a bit expensive

I usually got elsewhere before going to The Keys. I've been going for about 3yrs now as it is the closest club to me.The music is very cheesey and repeptative, apart from when DJ Principle is on! A younger audience is required, but other than that its a good laugh.

Was there last night, Thursday in May, not very busy but was nice, clean and comfortable. ( I must be getting old ) Could talk with my mates without shouting. Upsatirs was different to last time I was there, the new design is better, just needs more people.

Is loads better after the re-fit, a bit trendy but not over the top. Bouncers are still a bit aggresive and full of themselves. Club upstairs is an option for a late drink but not as good as the Moby Grape. Tuesday night is still 'snog a dog' (or poke a pig) night so all the middle aged single's head there - some funny sights! SORT THE BOUNCERS OUT!!!

Just been to the opening night of the new cross keys after its rumoured 1m refit, nice what they have done in there, like 'hide' over the road, very stylish and contemporary if a little less sophisticated. bit annoyed you needed tickets to get into the club upstairs - never used to, but hey its the opening night. Oh and the beer was better rather than off banks, we now have banks creamy bitter (isnt that a contradiction in terms?) and trophy special, nothing particularly amazing but an improvement none the less.

As the pub/club is under renovation, its hard 2 say about it now, but as im working there once its open i can say prepare 2 be amzed at it. and hopefully it will no longer be the claggy mat, but thats wishful thinking

Pub is ok, everyone goes for the Legendary club upstairs (the only place with a late licence in Yarm)called the claggy mat because your feet stick to the dancefloor its that bad. Looks like a working mans club - not trendy just funny. Wednesday night was r'n'b night and was good, too expensive on a weekend and full of people your mams age. Sadly now shut for renovation i just hope they dont make it nice, it will loose all its appeal! Oh and possibly the worst pint of banks you will ever have.
