Lime Kiln Inn, Knoleback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Recent change of landlord - the new one is a decent bloke (somewhat better than the supercilious pr*** who was there a couple of years ago) Ales, usually 3, always good. Food good but you can't book. You need to get there either before 7 or after 8.30!

Ales well kept, but not as many as there used to be (or is it my poor memory?), food is average pub grub.

As far as i'm aware "jdagnall" is not the landlord so please don't assume these things. You might find that a customer has entered the same thing on two websites!!
|
is 'jdagnall' the Landlord by any chance? because he's entered exactly the same comment on at least one other web-site besides BITE. ....and not commented on a single other pub....
Be wary of these self-promoting entries.......

The Lime Kiln Inn has a wide menu as well as specials that vary. The food is locally sourced, always cooked as requested, well presented and reasonably priced. The beer and lager is again locally produced as well as commercial brands being available and always good quality. The premises are cosy, having beams, open fires and a large dining room plus tables in the gardens that offer superb views. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, overall an excellent pub and definitely worth a visit.

another rural eating place....but this one does have decently kept ales......usually 2 or 3 to try. HopBack, Bass, Butcombe, Otter, typically... rustic (sort of) interior... Landlord likes to feel a bit 'superior'.....
