saw great band in here on a fri nite.older crowd ,well my age and up.another i would go back to .as far as i can rem was only one ale on.bombadier.but was fine and as stated band were great .think they were called the kill.

Real ale surved here and quite nice as well. Canny place with no pretentions (unlike some of the pubs near the Gala theatre)

OK pub, best noted for its large screen: maybe the best football watching pub in Durham for a big group, particularly if the pubs are going to be busy. Otherwise, unremarkable

On the 'circuit' so gets busy at the weekend and get get a touch lairy. Huge screen for the football and one cask ale (Bombardier) which is both cheap and well-kept.
