One of those classic old school pubs with a few rooms and nooks/crannies away from the bar. They now have a few more ales on (four on this occasion) though only the Cameron Hopper was out of the ordinary. It's in a fairly non-descript back of beyond part of the Wirral that seems to take ages to get to whatever means you use to get to it.

Sharp's Doombar and Purity Mad Goose were last nights offerings. The Mad Goose was excellent. The average age of the customers was around 70 ! A nice place for a quiet chat.

A small pub stuck in a 1960's time warp but that's not a bad thing. Pubs like this are very rare nowadays. Dark wood panelling and benches give the pub an old but comfortable feel. Timothy Taylors Landlord and keg Whitbread bitter plus a couple of lagers available. A place to go for a quiet chat.

A sign outside proclaims 'Lease for sale'.

A classic old British pub with a tardis-like interior featuring 3 small rooms and plenty of character. If it's choice of ales you're after, you're in the wrong place. Landlord is dispensed from the only handpull. But in fairness, there is no room at the bar for any more handpulls. If it's character and atmosphere you're looking for, look no further.

A great little pub, a locals' pub, plenty of atmosphere with Moira and Barrie behind the bar a pleasant place to spend an evening or lunchtime.

Small but perfectly formed old pub serving a reasonable pint of Taylor's Landlord. Refreshingly unspoiled.

It is a small cosy traditional local pub with small rooms, exposed stone fireplace and built in settle. Popular with locals.
