Geoffc should have looked down at the end of the bar. There are still six real ale pumps and beers on tap and apart from boddies they change regularly including Jennings Cumbeland, Tetley's etc so not all beers from doe south. The make over has been tastefully done but they could have given the toilets a better treatment.

visited the Ladybrook for the first time since its makeover. Its hard to see what they have done to the place other than remove most of the Cask pumps. I was sadly shocked to see where there was once a collection of about half a dozen locally brewed cask ales there are now just three. Taylors Landlord, Pedigree and for some strange reason Fulers London Pride. Having lived in the south for five years I thiught I had left the dull London Pride behind. I will be amazed if it sells in pub in this area. Why put this on when there are numerous local breweries whose beers were previously showcased at the Ladybrook. I can only think it is driven by cost. I tried the pedigree and to be honest it was flat within seconds of being poured. I think the pub company operating this place have got it badly wrong here. I will not be in a rush to return.

New management team of Adge and Mike have made a promising start. Mini refurb planned for end October. Beer in good shape but they need to sort out their orders as for the first time in my memory they ran out of Boddies!

The Ladybrook has had yet another change of Manager. I am sorry to see Sarah go. On the plus side Sharps Doombar is now a regular beer on the bar.

The Ladybrook has taken a backward step by hiking their draft beer prices by 15p per pint in the middle of a recession. The news on the street is that this wasn't the decision of the landlady but area management. I wonder what they will do when they see their revenues plummet?

The Ladybrook has gone from strength to strength with an imaginative range of continually changing guest beers that have managed to achieve Cask Margue recognition
The food is good value too and no I am not the landlord.

Awaiting a new Landlord. The company that owns this pub haven't spent much on maintenance over the years. On the positive side, the selection of real ales is good and normally in good condition.
