Pub demolished and new houses built on site

This place is now completely boarded up, and as I as speak some tree surgeons appear to be chopping down and chipping the trees in the garden.

This place appears to have been shut since at least the beginning of January 07. Also lost its sign during the recent gales.

Large green sign outside advertises that the pub is to let. Not a good sign.
I can see the beer garden from where I live, and the licensee's dog cr@ps all over it.
Hand pumps present but unused / unloved.
Avoid.

Went there last night for the first time in years - and was pleasantly surprised! Cheap pool table (though not much room!), two dartboards, free jukebox, friendly barstaff - looks like a nice garden too (didn't try due to a monsoon!)

Quite nice pub... stopped by on a few occasions for a game of pool in the summer. Never felt "unwelcome".

brilliant pub quality, manager and manageres, great people.The owner is nice.Great for the family.

A fine country-esque pub with a friendly landlord. Full of friendly locals and a nice spot to drink before watching Flackwell Heath FC... No food though!
