Always clean. Landlord has eyes like a hawk. Always very good Stella. Very cheap food if you can't be bothered cooking.

I never used to go near this place a few years back as it was a flea pit and just plain dirty. However, over the last couple of years the landlord has sorted it out with a lick of paint, clean glasses and a few tv's showing all the sport. Never have any problems with popping into the Rookery and always made to feel welcome. Bar snacks are ok and the small play area arond the back is great when the sun is out and keeps the kids entertained.

fear for the place now the fox in elworth has new owners and is open again,and the bears paw is also opening in a few weeks,will give it six months if that.

seen the fosters is back etc in the fox yesterday,brave lad after all the shit he writes about the place,the staff and the regulars.will be getting a slap next time he is in and the dirty bastard needs to clean his teeth more often.should stick to the rook.

Nice little pub with good beers/lagers on tap. 5 tv's scattered around the pub which show Sky, Setanta and a few other channels. Used to drink in the Fox, Elworth but that place has gone to the dogs. It's now just full of Elworth 'd@#ks' and the chef needs to stop washing in her own urine!
