Two Brewers, Hadlowback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
A Harveys owned pub with a full range of their beers. Those we tried were in good form and very reasonably priced. A good menu with fast and friendly service.
There is the added advantage of an attractive garden at the back, away from the road.

Great pub, fresh food on sale at all hours.

Popped in here for Sunday lunch with a bunch of walkers. The place doesn't appear very inviting from the outside: it's on a busy main road and the building looks a bit dilapidated. Inside we found a real gem of a place, a basic village pub with the old-style frosted partitions. It's a Harveys pub and they had four of their ales on, I had the Sussex best which was very well kept indeed. There was a special Sunday menu on: beef/lamb roasts or Sandwiches only but the roasts were good and very good value: 7 each, 9 for two courses, 11 for three. I really liked this place.

Popped in last week. Much improved! The new landlord told me he now stocks whatever monthly special is avalable from Harveys at any time, great! Cant wait to see what beers come on......

Popped in here last week while electioneering. A big improvement on my last visit 18 months ago. Landlord was friendly and the ale was on top form.

harvey's really should give up on this one. In the last two months two landlords, the first could'nt be bothered to open on a Saturday night and the current one pulled me the worst pint of vinegar like beer (Hadlow) I have been unfortunate enough to taste in years (and had no idea or understanding whatsoever that it was seriously off). Only a matter of time before this is housing! (And on my last three visits, not a moment too soon)

Sorry it,s me again.Just an update to the previous review. When I wrote that, I had not visited the pub for several months. Called in again recently, and found it considerably improved. They've changed the layout somewhat, removed the partition between what were previously two separate bars, created a new dining area and made the place feel altogether warmer and more welcoming. I went in hoping to find 'Old'; sadly it wasn't on, so I had some mild instead (being in a dark mood) and that was excellent. Hadlow and Best also on; Christmas Ale (8% plus!) due any day now. Even more worth trying than before. PS I'm not the licensee, an employee or even a regular - it's not my fault if nobody else writes reviews of the place.

Harveys bought this place (formerly The Fiddling Monkey, before that The Albion) a few years back and remamed it The Two Brewers - themselves and the long defunct Kenwards, whose old brewery in Hadlow is now converted to flats. To mark the acquisition they renamed their 'cooking' bitter 'Hadlow'; apparently they've always bought hops from a local farmer. I've been in a few times, They've made a real effort to produce a basic, traditional village pub, with no frills, and they've done quite well, though I found it a bit soulless. But it deserves support.
