Good selection of well kept Ossett Beers plus 3 guests and an ale from Fullers. A bit slack with the tops ups when the beer heads lively but topped up no probs when asked. Silver King and Excelsior sublime. Good atmosphere for all.

Was in here yesterday before the Ossett Albion v Whitley Bay game. Good pint of Excelsior, nice pub.

Called in with friends after a tip off and wasn't disappointed. Well decorated typical alehouse style with relaxing friendly atmosphere. Beer quality excellent. I think they had 4 Ossett beers and 3 guests. Well worth a visit.

Nice pub with a good selection of alcoholic beverages. More intimate than the Silver King up the road because the tap doesn't serve food so you don't feel like you're annoying people whilst they're eating! Good place to meet your friends and stop all night without having to go anywhere near a single larger institute!

Smallish two roomed pub with enclosed beer garden. The Ossett range of beers perfectly kept as usual. Silver King 2.40 a pint, nectar, aaaahhh

Comfy pub with a good selection of well kept ales, nice friendly girl behind the bar.

Decent Ossett pub - not a patch on the cracker in Liversedge, for atmosphere or beer, but decent staff and a proper pub feel. A good example of a small brewery.

Very handy for Ossett cricket club and Ossett Albion FC. The beer quality and range is good

This is a much better pub since Ossett Brewery took it over about a year ago. It's great if you like Ossett beers but guest ales, although well kept, are limited and they don't serve food here. What with this pub and my favourite Brewers Pride less than a mile down the road it's well worth a visit to both - happy drinking!!!
