Visited on Boxing Day and once the very vinegary cask of Midnight Stout was changed we were treated to some excellent dark beer.

A really good all round pub on the outskirts of Nantwich, but within easy walking distance. Fantastic food and great beer selection. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Would recommend a visit.

Very good beer, even my jaded palate could tell the Woodlands brewers do not skimp on the ingredients and care about what they do. Had the bitter and the mild and enjoyed both. Pub itself is tidy but rather food oriented, suppose it has to be being located outside of the town centre. Well woth a visit.

Brewery tap for the local Woodlands brewery. That explains the 10 beers they had on the go. Nice enough place, does food at lunchtimes too and has a decent beer garden around the back. It is 10 minutes walk outside of the town center but worth it on a nice day.

The pub owner and brewer of the Woodlands beer was very friendly. The beer was in excellent condition. Too far way to be my local though!

A relatively new pub, I don't know if it was a pub before, but it has evidently been given a makeover in the recent past. It has only been open for a few months in its current form.
This pub is owned by the Woodland's Brewery. The beer they serve is mostly therefore Woodlands own brew, but that is no bad thing as they make their beer using only spring water and that gives it a good clear flavour. When we visited, they had a selection of about 6 or 7 real ales on draft as well as the usual fizzy lager and stuff.
Didn't try the food, but it looked perfectly nice from where we were sitting at the bar.
Only downside is the wooden floor makes the place a bit noisy when it is busy, but it's worth a visit if only for the beer.
