Yes, all closed up when I drove past today.
Nearly moved to this village 10 years ago, this would have been my local.

Just this week I have seen that the new owner has received planning permission to change it into a "dwelling", so it will be shut. Yet another one bites the dust!

A very quiet pub in a nice roadside location. We were the only customers until two other couples appeared. It was so quiet, we could hear the ping of the microwave as their food was being cooked. Two real ales were available - Palmers Copper Ale and St Austell Tribute. Thatchers Gold was the cider. The interior was a bit too modern for my liking. Contrary to the previous reviewer, I found the gents toilets to be the nicest I had visited in any of the 9 previous pubs we had been to (although I have to admit I didn't visit every gents, it was still the best I saw!).

Ate there in October. Very much a restaurant rather than family pub. Nice food, well cooked - but it felt like we were sitting in someone's hallway of their house rather than in a pub. The loo was shocking, though - small, dingy, absolutely didn't match the high prices and cuisine.

Great Little pub especially in the summer. Sitting on the balcony with a local beer or Stowtord Press in a nice setting. The food is excellent and it won the south west dining pub of the year 2007.

Gastro-pub which appeared to have most of the meat dishes on the menu nailed to the walls.
