Green Parrot, Perranporthback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Had at least three visits in the past fortnight. Each time the food was very good and reasonable. Even though the pub was quite full we did not have to wait long for the food. Ales were in very good condition. We had cotleigh golden seahawk, ruddles best and one other (forgot) all which were good. Some meals came with a free pint. We will definately visit again next year.

Went today having not noticed the 'opening soon' note on the Wetherspoons web page! Oops. I was not the only one as several othe couples wher looking at the sign that gave the distinct impression that the Parrot was open. A friendly builder quotes the 22nd as an opening date. Too late for me, next year probably. It even has a car park!

Re last comment
Work now started on the pub as it would appear to have been bought by Wetherspoons and is currently undergoing a refurbishment with a view to opening in the autumn (2010)

Perhaps the landlord saw the last review.
Now ceased trading and boarded up.

Yet to have a decent pint of beer in this place, always seems grubby. Not yet braved the food. Can get very busy at the height of summer, particularly with the car park to the rear.

was in Perranporth on a very hot busy day, and parked in the Parrot as every were else was chocker block,it was 5 refundable at the bar if you spent over 10 and as we were having luch out seemed sensible to eat there, we had fish and chips which was okay I suppose,it looked and tasted like it had been refried, the pint i had was in good nick, I think it was Doombar or Pride I can't remember, i probably would use it again but only as a convenient place to park
