THIS PLACE WAS AS BAD AS IT GETS .AND I HAVE DRUNK IN THE OLD FRIENDS

The short lived W Lounge was followed by the even shorter lived Lani Tiki bar- have Greenwich Inc learned nothing. Clearly they have given up on it as it appears to have been shut for months, and their own website has it listed as the W lounge still- the'freshest funkiest club in Greenwich' apparently. Frank- have you considered revamping this site as The Cricketers ? It was always busy and with it's location could do well with good staff, drinks and food. Maybe even bring the live music back- the place was always rammed when that was on.

Another brave try at reopening, but indifferent cocktails and still no disabled facilities - this is a breach of the law, given the new makeover. Had to go up and down stairs to the toilet on my bottom on Saturday 3 January 2009, with no offers of help and a laugh from the barman when I asked if there were disabled facilities on the ground floor!

As previously posted has closed and appears to be looking for the Samoa Joes look from Lock Stock.
|
Closed down six months after opening and is now being remodelled as the "Lanu Tiki Lounge". Due to open on 5/9/08. God help us all.

Appalling meat-market owned by Greenwich's infamous "Frank the Yank", staffed by idiots and patronised by the dregs of west Kentinsh society.
Thankfully I've been barred.
As if the Powder Monkey was not enough of an abomination the W**k Lounge surely takes the spot for Greenwich's most foul nightspot?

Clueless kids behind the bar who don't even know what real ale is, let alone whether or not they sell it! Still no disabled facilities and no concern that the're aren't, either! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Used to be a rather nice old pub by the name of The Cricketers, has now been turned into an ultra modern bar type place, full of plasma screens showing MTV or some such, with clueless teenagers behind the bar and no beer. How sad. I have a couple of opinions about what the W stands for! Sums up those who run and populate this place now.
