Now flats for people who decide to have babies when they have no money to pay for themselves.

No! Not more flats! It was a nice little pub I thought. Very welcoming staff.

Another Peckham pub hits the dust. Planning application recently submitted for: "Demolition of existing public house and redevelopment of the site to erect a 4 storey building comprising 13 flats, associated amenity areas,2 disabled parking spaces on Asylum Road frontage and refuse/recycling store. "

Fantastic space with superb restaurant just 10 minutes from london bridge. Me and my partner had pate and escalope de foie gras chaud (very delicate subtle texture) for starters and lobster salad to follow (fresh from deptford creek, slight aftertaste of mud) Excellent friendly service and some great art hanging on the walls, as well as an indoor water feature that had our 4 year old entertained for hours. the price was quite steep but for quality food one has to be prepared to pay a little bit more..all the vegetables were locally sourced and the meat is organic minor gripe..no valet service :( and the lighting, although beautiful (exquisite chandeleirs especially imported from barcelona) set a more intimate mood than I had anticipated. Overall, a heartfelt recommendation, and a definite thumbs up!

this is one of the best pubs i've ever been to! loads of nutters and nothing but complete piss behind the bar. if they ever changed it, it would a bigger shame than the crystal palace being burnt to the ground all them years ago. keep london and brighton as shite as possible and we can all rest in peace eventually.

Scary. Absolutely scary. Awful place - avoid!

Closed by Admiral taverns, 'the best pub closers in the business'. Freehold for sale. Expect flats.

Dragged in a while back by a mate. Why, I have no idea. I guess it was to see just how bad some places really are. Dark, dirty, dump. Bits of broken furniture piled up on one wall. Toilets that would have been condemned in most 3rd world countries. Plastic gangsta chav central. Gets my vote as the worst pub in London. Quite possibly the worst pint of guinness I'd ever had too.

Dark, cosy, Irish flag-festooned pub next to Peckham Queens Rd station. Busy with a mix of ages and races, just as it should be in this area. No real stuff, otherwise good marks and a bit of a find in SE16.

lively pub on sundays, with old timers danny & danny.very nice bar staff, very happy and sociable, they know how to have a laugh.should be put on the map.good for sociable events, apparently its under new management and they have a hostal above the prmisies for back packers 8 a night so i have been told.it is currently being refurbished and gets very busy during the week.i found it by getting off the train at queens road peckham, its right on the corner you can't miss it,they also have happy hour between 11am-5pm and do sandwiches.its a pub that sgould be visited.
