Swan, Kidderminsterback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
I have visited this pub on and off for years and it was always good, great bathams and food was nice, however, things have changed, the last time i was there, i had to listen to a customer( obviously a local) standing swearing at the bar and he was drunk, the barman seemed to know him but was far more interested in his mobile phone, there are far too many good pubs to visit

Now a pub that sells Bathams is obviously going to get a good review.
And its in perfect condition here.
They have started advertising steaks at good value, so we thought we would check it out after a walk. The food ordering system is bizarre. You cant order food and drink at the same time. You cannot setup a tab. So one of you orders drinks at a central bar and the other goes through room after room looking for the little kiosk at the back where they take food orders.
When they are not serving punters delicious Bathams.
Eventually managed to get served (again) and food was excellent and quick to come out - but there must be a better way!

Called here with a couple of mates. Nice 17th-century pub, large lounge, snug and a comfy public bar. Bathams house serving Mild Ale and Best Bitter. We tried the Best, and found a good pint. Weston's cider is available on hand pull. There is a large garden and children's play area at the rear overlooking the local countryside. Dogs are also welcome.

Certainly worth a detour off the A448. Chaddesley Corbett is a pretty village and The Swan is an interesting pub with a large beer garden. It is worth a visit to admire the ceramic Bull's Head tiles (Batham's trademark) that line the corridors.
I cannot recall drinking Batham's brews before, but their nicely balanced Best Bitter was tip-top ... and only 2.45 a pint. Add to that friendly, efficient and helpful bar staff and the Swan gets 8+/10 from me

Bathams - Milk of Amnesia.
This is a lovely pub but very popular in the summer. Good for taking the dog. The prices are excellent.
Go there........!
