After having a fair few pints at other establishment’s in town I stopped here on my way to the station.
There was 1 real ale which was GK’s Golden Abbot, I decided against this and went for a bottle of cider instead.
Extremely large pub, that was fairly empty both inside and out, the Pizzas on offer looked and smelt good and in hindsight I should have one instead of a ropey sandwich from Sainsbury’s next door!
The weather was great so I took my drink and sat in the large outside area.
Probably a decent place for a night out and some food, will I come back ? Probably not as I’ve “ticked” Maidenhead now and also been to the football ground.
Very handy for the station though and shouldn’t be overlooked.

A passable option in a town that sorely needs it - Maidenhead is ringed by appealing villages and suburbs but its commercial core is diabolically soulless. Pizzas and burgers make up the acceptable food options and Marseille against Saint Etienne was showing on the big screens. Rocking Rudolph proved to be a reasonable guest ale and will presumably be replaced come January.

This pub has now had a major refurb and is bar/pizzeria. It is immaculate inside with wood paneling and an open plan kitchen at the front of the bar. Pleased to see they have kept the screens for sport and have a good range of lagers, Greene king golden ipa and a rocking Rudolph guest ale. Looks like they also have a cocktail selection. Haven't eaten there yet but looks very busy so will be popping in soon. Looks like it has taken off already with suits in after work and more "regular" types still coming in to watch the games. Hopefully with this and bar sport leading the way this is the regeneration of Maidenhead.

Football, pool and beer... If that is all you want then this is the place to go in maidenhead.... Down here for a few weeks work and checking out places to eat drink and be merry... Drink here, watch football and shoot pool...food pretty basic but pasable

Good pub if you like pool. Also has several TV screens for sport, including 1 large and 1 small 3d screen

I tend to visit for a lunchtime beer as it's just over the road. The cask ale is fresh and well kept, the food is typical Brake Brothers fare (i.e. straight out of the freezer) but good, it's clean, and has Sky Sports and a half dozen pool tables. Pretty much everything you need.

excellent pub great ales's , landlord on the ball , very clean & very happy bar staff . would return

Lots of pool tables and the trouble that comes with that. Does have good beer that is very reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

I popped in here when on the way to the station for a quick pint and was surprised to see 3 casks on a stillage at the end of the bar in what appeared at first glance to be a 'real' free pub. Even better was the price of said beer, 2.45 for Vale Brewery Winter Solstice, girl behind bar sociable and keen and interesting selection of forthcoming ales. Local CAMRA veg newsletter available too. Other than that, Maidenhead, what a complete run down toilet.

Surprised to 3 real, cask ales served straight from the barrel on the bar. Not sure why the sudden change, or how long it'll last, but a welcome sight in Maidenhead.

Farly modern interior. As stated no real ales or anything decent on tap except the usual suspects, that said what they do have is reasonably priced. Very good pub for a pre and post match pint. Has loads of screens showing pretty much everything and the food is certainly acceptable. Been here a couple of times in the last year and can't complain.

Loads of pool tables and TVs - Good for the football, but downside is no real ale
