please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The pub is under new management, and it is obvious after a few minutes of chatting with the new licensee that this place really is in good and caring hands.
There is a front and rear garden, large screen TVs and a great jukebox full of music to everyone's tastes. There are also two pool tables, darts board, and regular live music!
The staff are extremely welcoming, and the atmosphere is very friendly. The place is also dog friendly which makes for a nice change. I have been told that a number of improvements are still under way, so I think it's a pub that will become a strong favourite among the locals and passers-by alike.

Visited recently - it's still open despite no comments in nearly two years. Lacking in atmosphere, welcome, and beer - four hand pumps, only two in use, not impressed with the quality of the beer (not bad, but not great either). Patio area out the back was a disgrace - weeds growing in the paving, looks like the leaves haven't been swept up since the autumn, and broken glass too. Music slightly too loud indoors - and does anybody really want piped music outside? A real shame - if it was tidied up and maybe a few troughs of plants added then this could be a nice place to drink on a summer evening. As past reviews have mentioned, only the last couple of pictures attached to these reviews are actually this pub!

Oh and noticed the first 9 pictures are wrong - have added a 10th which actually is the oub

Under new management (again) and noticeably cleaner and tidier already. There is a variation other than rock music and the kitchen is open when it say's it is.
Good pint of real ale and past locals coming back again

Oh, and do something about the bl**dy wrong picture please!

Another new licensee (!) who is determined to make a go of the place and is pushing cask ales. Old Hooky, Hobgoblin, Brakspears and Spitfire on last evening and in good nick. Two are regular and 2 are guests. The decor is a bit bland and the music too loud for a proper drinkers pub however. Beer festival planned for the summer, and regular live music too. If you live in Bracknell and like decent ales give this place a go and support a licensee trying to irrigate the beer desert that is Bracknell.

This review is for the Royal Oak. New licensees have really changed the place. Now selling a decent range of beers with Triple fff Alton's Pride (CAMRAs champion beer of Britain 2008) selling very well indeed. Now worth the walk down from the town centre.

the george and falcon is a closed down, empty, pub looks like it has had a refurb but no one is brave enough to take it on with its new look and i bet high rent to match

The pictures are not the Royal Oak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
