No real ale, but otherwise a very good community pub that seems to still run darts/football teams - an increasing rarity in London. Looks so-so from the outside but a comfortable, traditional local inside. Staff and locals friendly enough on my last flying visit and the Guinness is both good and quite cheap for the area. Enjoy this type of pub while they still exist.

An honest local (Irish) boozer of a kind which still exists - in gradually declining numbers - in certain spots in North London. I rather liked it to be honest - the atmosphere was friendlier than is usual in pubs of this kind and there was a certain cosiness about it - last poster's comment about being the least friendly pub he's ever been in seems unfair to this reviewer. No real ales as far as I could see.

Possibly the least friendly pub I've ever been in. Avoid, yes, even in Finsbury Park.

Nice quiet friendly , with an excellent outside smoking area although you have too walk through the lobby of the Ladies to get to it.

This place is alright. Somehow manages to be very inconspicous.

good place for a drink or 2, food is a bit ropey, clients are old Irish blokes so dont expect to pull !
