I had time for one more swift half before heading to the game on Saturday afternoon. So I headed for this rockers' bar. It's quite civilised during the daytime and there was a reasonable crowd of football fans and some diners and drinkers. Burgers is the speciality. Ales were Timothy Taylor Landlord, Saltaire Raspberry Blonde, Magic Rock Dark Arts, Cameron's Whakanui & Bad Company Love Ever Gold. There is a pool table. A bit rough and ready. But I'd happily come here again.

This definitely a music fans pub, large open plan bar area; and gig area at the rear of the property. 4 cask ales on offer one being the ever reliable Tim Taylors Landlord which, it has to be said while drinkable wasn't the TTL we know and love. Bonus points for Bar Football table.

Sadly the silver buckets have gone! Real ale is still inconsistent

Alternative pub, gets loud at night. Serves real ale, however quality is poor and staff could do with some training.
|
Definitely not an ale drinkers pub, I'd go as far to say that I never get a beer in here and tend to go for spirits instead, but if you're into the alternative music scene, a great place. Scooped some impressive gigs recently.

Quite like the place quiet enough to have apeaceful coouple of pints - and like the silver bucket urinals.

Formerly the Parish Pump, indie / rock pub with no real ales
