Under New Management (and not before time)this interesting pub will have lots to offer in the near future. Currently serving Fuller's London Pride & Courage Best. This Punch Tavern pub is on the way up. Food will be served in the very near future. So give it a look soon.

Strange place - quite cheap for a town-centre pub - large, bright food area quite different from the dingy front bar - 'barman' who had very obviously never been asked to pull a pint of real ale before

Interesting pub with an excellent range of food. They have claimed to be an ale house in the past (I'm not sure if they bother with this anymore) but on my last 3 visits they have all been off. Carling is ridiculously cheap in here for some reason but everything else is quite expensive. Loads of TV's, Fruit Machines etc and it gets incredibly lively on a weekend as its right next door to The Loft, a popular nightclub. Might be worth a lunchtime visit.
