A very late Saturday night, early Sunday morning visit to finish the night off, not through choice just chasing it a bit as it was the last late night drink available.
At least 3 ales on the cask hand pumps and a couple of keg choices, by this time I was done so went for vodka followed by a bottle of peroni!
Packed, mainly full of 20 something's, dj playing and lots of pushing as the bar area is pretty small.
I may venture back in the day on another occasion but cannot see myself returning for a late nighter again.

Just though I'd quickly update. 3 ales on all seem to be 3.70 and Carlsberg 4.20!! The stuff of heart attacks right here

One of the only late night places around Ilkley. the ale has always been in decent nick when I have had it. It's got quite a cosy feel to it when it's not late at night but after that it's a different story. Usually attracts dickheads and the bouncers can be knob heads. The prices are usually ridiculous (about 3.60 for a carlsberg) but when it's the only place late at night you'll pay it.

Have been going here infrequently for several years and have always enjoyed the place. Could be because we tend to go mid afternoon. Generally not too busy and service good and if the weather is good the balcony/beer garden are excellent. Have not eaten but feel the food is expensive as are the drinks.

Customer service and a good range of real ales, but would certainly agree about overpriced food.

Completely agree with the last review. Drunken loudmouths as early as 7 o'clock, overpriced beer and in need of some customer service.

This pub was recommended to me whilst I am working in the area as the place to go. The person who recommended is now swimming with the fishes in the river Warf! Full of pretentious loud mouthed fools, beer over priced,so is the food. A place to avoid with out doubt if you happen to in Ilkley, try the Riverside far better and cheaper.

Do not understand the 3.7 rating for this pub - looks like saboutage!
Have enjoyed our couple of visits.

Reall good pub... great staff, modern layout, really feel at home there. Good selection of beer, including hand-pulls and good food... what more could you ask for really?
