Still CLOSED. Has been for years.
This pub has been CLOSED for a few years now. It is boarded up but looks like it may be lived in upstairs where lights are still on after dark.
This is one of the most friendly and welcoming pubs I've ever been to and it's by far the best I've been to in Feltham. The LL, staff and all the fellow locals that frequent the pub are all lovely. Thanks to The Mansion for providing such a lovely place to drink.
Its a very nice pub the beer is absoulutly lovely, by the way the message below is a load of shit ignore it.
its not very clean and the beer tastes bad this is probably why the pub is empty most of the time, saturday nite is awful. not much going on, if you like peace and quiet one min and tons of kids running around the next, the LL sitting watching soaps and treating the place like her front room then this pub is for you.

Any real ales served here?
the mansion has been repainted cream and red, very nice, looks much more classsy, long overdue, hope they do well, nice friendly pub now

A Gentlemans evening? It's not often I'm lost for words I can tell you.I admit that the licencees appear to be sweeping up out the front these days so less chance of the crunch of broken glass underfoot as you pass by.Credit where credits due.I take it that a Gentlemans evening, in this er context, involves some kind of after burger entertainment?Perhaps an amusing speaker only recently released from prison?More likely one of our local beauties in a display of exotic dancing.Well as long as the bounds of good taste & decency were observed by all concerned eh?
This pub is very nice, friendly staff, warm welcome when i come in, and a great selection of beers, spirits at a reasonably price. i have a pint and a game of pool with all the locals, and the burgers are out of this world. They have a special on monday-tuesday for 2 a pint. Im looking forward to the 1st febuary because there is a gentlemens night. If you got a chance check the pub out because the new family have taken the pub over and are doing an fantastic job.

On the subject of the Christmas eve disco I take it all back.no disco this year.I was able to pass the pub on my way home from the midnight service at St Dunstans church without witnessing any distressing scenes of drunkenness or outrageous chavery.Good show innkeeper!
Some of the sights i've seen on the pavement outside this place over the years are enough to persuade even the staunchest boozer of the benefits of temperence. They have a particularly appalling Christmas eve discotheque which spills out onto the adjacent green.I witnessed a young woman swearing & shouting at her gentleman friend at half past midnight one year while he threatened to kill her.The really sad thing about this spectacle was the small child crying in the buggy she was pushing.Nuff said.

As of this week, 18th july 2009, The Mansion looks to have re-opened. The boarded up windows and the concrete slabs surrounding the premises have gone and the lights are on again. Just when we thought.... Any Real Ales this time round? Good luck anyway.
Closed and boarded-up when I went past the other day. 2 Pubs in Feltham gone within 2 weeks. (other is Crown & Sceptre).
Under new management... AGAIN!...
Just popped into the pub as I have just moved here. Looks rather empty and spacious. Range of beers and spirits was minimal.
Could do with a bit more spice.
Popped in here last Monday evening...a bit quiet but nice and clean. Looks like they operate a two teir price list one for Monday-Thursday and one for Friday to Sunday..ie M-T Fosters is 2.20 a pint but goes up to 2.85 on F-S............not bad value that
Yours for a minimum capital of 42,000!
Now it's To Let by Fleurets agents.
Re-opened by 22/03 - with a board outside stating this. Looks like they've got new owners/money?
Shame. Money must have been spent on changing this pub.
The owner/company has apparently gone into liquidation which is not a good thing...
I noticed driving past it was closed. Anybody know why?
Temporary closure!!

Pub was closed when I went past earlier - notices in window but couldn't see from bus!
Food is fantastic with a great deal on with 2 4 1 on main meals so you can get 2 steak dinners for 9.95 and plenty of other options and they're not small either which is great. There is new customers in every day it's completely changed from the Rose & Crown.

went past and the car park was full of gents with crewcuts and england jerseys - full marks for trying to put a more up market pub into feltham, but i fear you are doomed to failure..

Once a Khazi... always a Khazi
According to the locals, the staff spend more time lounging around the sofas than behind the bar. The beer quality also varies considerably. The prices are high too.
Yes the pub closed for a refurb. it's now complete and opens today Thursday 5th April 2007. Bigger kitchen, New Menu, New Management and a complete different pub and it's now called The Mansion!!
