The Greyhound was the better of the two Brackley pubs I sampled. It's a Greene King pub a little out of the town centre and it has a little bit of character, being divided up into different drinking and eating areas. The barmaid was friendly and offered a sampler of the Greene King Marmalade On Toast I had ordered. IPA and Abbot were the other choices. This was a fairly busy place and my Marmalade on Toast was certainly different. Although I'm not sure I'd choose it again.

Just spent a week in Brackley and used The Greyhound on three occasions dining on each. The food was typical pub food but plenty of it and well presented. The beer too was in good condition and at a reasonable price the staff very friendly. The pub is also dog friendly which is an extra bonus. Well worth a visit.

A nice pub that works very hard to be part of the local community and tries to cater for all tastes. It always seems to do a good trade in food and has a large upstairs function room. It is very welcoming of families.
In terms of beer, it's always a bit disappointing perennially serving Abbott and IPA with an occasional Greene King switch. Oh how I wish they'd have just one Guest!

Seemed most unfriendly staff did not like me disturbing the football he was watching on tv

Used to be a great real ale house, always 5 or 6 ales from 3.8 to about 7.5vol, now a choice of ONE about 3.4 Knats P**
