Nothing much to complain about during my early evening, mid-week experience. WiFi was handy and to be honest the only reason I came in. Clean public areas and pleasant service, just not keen on the doggy smell but that's a pet hate of mine, if you'll forgive the pun.

I met mark once. He was alright to start with but he was soon pissed and gobbing off to customers. Judy doesn't want to know that she's got a problem with this bloke. Couple of years since I've been there so might have changed. Doubt it thoughj. A good pu. Just the wrong people running it.

It transpires that the Licensee's partner, Mark, was arrested on November 11th, (after the incident posted), for dropping his trousers in the bar. He is also barred from two pubs in Burnham for anti-social behaviour. Would you take your family to the Garibaldi?

I had a bad experience in this pub. On Remembrance Sunday I had been to the local British Legion and was in army uniform. I was with my wife and we popped into the Gari for a quiet drink. The barman was pretty tight and a bloke standing nex...t to me struck up conversation about the band which had led the parade. The barman butted into the conversation and said that his parents were Irish Catholics and that if I wanted grief he would drag me across the bar and pound my face in. We walked out. I called the Gari when I arrived home and asked to speak to Judy, the Licensee, she wasn’t available. I left my number and a message for her to call me. She didn’t call so I phoned her on Monday 12th November. Judy was aware that an incident had taken place, but defended the barman, her Partner, Mark, by saying that it had been her birthday on the Saturday and he had been drunk. I didn’t quite understand this as the incident had occurred on Sunday. “All I can do is apologise”, she said. I left it at that. So, why was this bloke, Mark, left in charge of a pub if he was drunk? Does he abuse all people in uniform? Or is he just a drunken lout? The Gari used to be a good pub; it’s a pity that it has sunk so low.See more

Personally this is my favourite pub in the high street. Over the last few months have been on evenings where I visited all the pubs in the high street.

In the Garibaldi I didn't get stared at as I walked in. The bar staff I have met have been happy and chatty; as well as the people drinking at the bar. There did not seem to be any undesirables.

On Friday's fresh fish and chips for lunch. A good atmosphere in the evening.

Friends of mine drink there purely for the Ale's which are kept well.

Also I have enquired about catering for a family event in the coming months and the Land Lady was very accommodating and able to work to my needs. Will definitely confirm this event.

Norm1945 is right in saying you get views of (Part of) Burnham Park from the Pub, but currently the view is blighted by the Bulldozers demolishing the "Burnham Park Hall" creating dust and noise everywhere. This is a Pub where you can enjoy a pint and get your car washed in the Car Park at the same time. Occassional Themed Nights,Speciial Events and Live Music. Still one of the quieter pubs in the High Street.

Great Pub with atmosphere and their own web site giving loads of info and the Menus which are really good.
Lovely views of Burnham Park circa 1762 full of character.

This pub has a lot of atmosphere, The Landlady ( and her partner) have transformed the place, serving good food and Sunday roast lunches and developing a fun crowd of local clientele. Their no nonsense approach when it reopened has put off the anti social characters who used to frequent the place and it is now a friendly place to go for a drink or food. There is off street parking and a nice view of the green. Give it a go....

Pub Reopened recently after major refurb and now selling food (Fresh Fish on Friday). Not been in yet but not heard favourable reports about Landlord who thinks he is the New Sherrif in town (Maybe a good thing). Will report later when I have visited for myself and formed an unbiased opionion - watch this space.

Pub Currently Closed (Joint decision by Police and Mitchel & Butlers). Will only re-open when a New Tennant/Landlord can be found. And then only after a complete refurbishment has been carried out. Shame because this could be one of the best Pubs in the village if run right. It certainly has a head start on some in that the Building has Character (also some very low ceilings).

Character Pub found at the lower end of the High Street. New Landlord took over last year, very pleasant atmosphere having all major Sporting events on two TV's. Watch out for the low beams!!!

Occassional Live music and at weekends not afraid to use their late license. Just opposite the Local Village Hall so very handy to pop in whilst at a do there. Good Local Trade. Give it a whirl. Not tried the food but it does have a large Garden at the rear and ample car parking.

Really friendly, lovely large garden and car park. Felt really welcome, the Guiness is the best!!
Real old pub, low ceilings, lots of beams. It was great that the landlady bought some colouring bits out for the kids!!
