This pub like so many has gone. Along with the garden next door is now a block of flats. Not one of the best pubs in the area but still a shame.

I am saddened to report that the Fanny is no longer open. In fact both the front and back entrance closed some time ago. I guess the Fanny was past its best and trade was particularly quiet the week it closed but some speculate that it was just the time of the month. The Fanny also wasn't particularly clean and occasionally an unpleasant smell eminated from it. Its just a shame that the two lads who served behind the bar Jack and Danny will now be out of a job!

Pub currently closed and apparently has a demolition order placed on it.

Great traditional local friendly community pub. Full of atmosphere good beer.
Shows all sports very much busy when football is on.
Has free pool and a pool comp every Thursday night well worth a visit if your in the area

Good location, nice building, should be a good pub but it's not!

Best described as a creche.

Trying to think of something positive. mmm. About the best I can come up with is that its not the Duchess of Edinburgh. At least its clean. A regulars pub with no welcome mat for visitors. No real ale just the usual nitro-gas-kiddy-fiz.
