Handy pub in the city centre, a couple of cask ales available on my visit - the TT Landlord was well kept. Good to be able to buy fish and chips at the great chippy over the road (Grosvenor hish bar) and take them in to eat with a pint - something the chippy and pub both encourage!

Popped in on a very quiet sunday night back in January, was pretty dead apart from a few students, the pint of Ossett "Big Red" was ok but nothing special, 6/10

Absolutely beautiful. Lovely staff, very quaint. Sell cakes on the bar, boardgames available, really well decorated. Just basically a really good atmosphere and excellent place to pass the day/evening/night

Used to be a very dodgy pub called the Brown Derby and before that the Pottergate Tavern. Now fixed up (but with no wine-bar pretensions) with a good laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff (Rose is especially welcoming and smiley). Well worth a visit.

arty pub, sells hoegarden (3.60), not bad

Upbeat and modern. Little on the pricey side, but worth it for the interesting nights they put on in the lounge (salsa, cabaret, disco's)
