Used to be 50% pub and 50% restaurant, now 0.5% pub 99.5% restaurant. Food Ok, but horrendous queues if trying to get a sunday roast after 5pm. Ticket system, when your ticket comes up, head to cavery or wait for waitress if not eating roast.
Last time I visited for a quick pint in the small beer garden out back. Was shocked to see so much discarded rubbish blowing around at back of kitchen, made me think twice about trying roast again.

aalways very busy, so it must be doing somthing right, not where i'd choose to go as they don't serve real ale, but apart from that it's a desent enough place especialy if you've got young kids

I often come here for a carvery and I've always had a pleasurable meal. No real ale so drink Coors or Stella which is served iced cold and refreshing. Nice also to sit outside on the terrace in summer, and the staff here seem to take pride in their service.

Only went once to this establishment for a meal, never again. Although the food was ok, it was full of kids and loud noisy people, and this was at 8 pm, and when one of the chefs/cooks came from the kitchen and went for a fag outside, we could not help notice how filthy his whites were, it looked like he had been coal mining, and he was preparing the food. Retired to the pub area, to find overflowing ashtrays and crisp wrappers all over the place, the pits.

Pretty good. Cheap Carvery - 5 before 6.30. Bitter was ok and got served very quickly.

I have been here a few times recently and can only say good things about the carvery. The food is always beautiful and a good atmosphere can always be expected.

The Toby Carvery in Bexleyheath is quite a decent restaurant/pub which I have visited a couple of times now. They serve up good honest grub at affordable prices. Its a little tatty round the edges and the bar area leaves a little to be desired. Despite the good prices for the food (baring in mind that its the primary reason youd go here) the same unfortunately cannot be said for the drink. Unless you stick to the cheap larger, its 3 a pint of Guinness and thats a little dear even if drinking is perhaps secondary to the eating. There is a pleasant enough beer garden however and I have always enjoyed myself here. Overall, recommended.
