Went in the other night good music and idea for a bar. 2 big let downs! Bottle beer was warm and the mens toilet was dirty as hell! Thank God they don't do food! There was no toilet paper! Snot, spunk & S___ up the walls! Really could do with a good cleaner and we expected better standards.

Hello everyone!
Just a quick not about the Kou Kou Bar in Teddington, i had my birthday party here in oct 08 and i had the best night of my life.
The coctails are to die for and the music is really funky, the whole atmosphere is brilliant.
The staff are very kind and are willing to help. I would have another party here any day.
If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere, good music and a fantastic coctail then this is the place for you.

Visited recently and had an excellent night. The management has recently changed and there was a really good atmosphere, the staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed sampling the varied cocktail & shooter menu. :o) The place has changed inside and looks a lot brighter and more welcoming.

Moved to the area and have been here a few times but popped in tonight and found that it has been bought over and it is much better, staff are the owners so are much more friendly. We went enmass and had a great time. Cocktails were really good (esp during happy hour) and shots were great. Good atmosphere and good boogie plus no door fee!!!

Visited here at the weekend and had a great time. The management seems to have changed and made this place much better. The staff were friendly and helpful which really helped to make our night great. Will definitely be recommending this bar to all!

It's okay but tiny hence you dont need many in to get a bit of atmosphere.
It's usually quiet and not open much or very busy.
Downstairs is a bit creepy, especially for girls. My advice go in pairs

There is usually a bouncer on the door presumably to keep the trash out of Kou Kou but The Richmond Guardian (May 17 2007) reported that Kou Kou has just been taken to court and hit with fines of over �1,200 for dumping bags of rubbish in the street. Ouch!

Tried again, and service was much faster this time. Cocktails good, although not outstanding. The staff I met were very friendly and attentive.

Nice Looking little bar. MIxed crowd, good cocktail list. However, the first time we visited before Christmas, it took us 40 mins to get 2 cocktails! Lets hope next time the staff are more efficient -we'll try once more.
