Ravenscourt Arms, Hammersmithback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
When my partner and I made the foolish mistake of moving out of Hammersmith a couple of years ago, this pub was one of the things we missed most. It's just a brilliant place to have a drink, and shines out as a proper pub among the numerous gastrobars and Wetherspoons littering the area. Looking forward to the new jukebox, too!

Friendly and completely unpretentious pub. It's nothing remarkable but I've always had a good welcome here and enjoyed my time in it. It's a small pub, with a pool table to the right as you enter should you wish to play, and a television next to the door as well as a big screen, which shows sport on terrestrial channels. Worth a visit if you're passing by.

While this might not look like the most appealing choice of venue for a few drinks, i was pleasantly surprised. The friendly barstaff (mostly Irish) and good-humoured banter between some of the regulars gave this quasi-Irish pub the feel of a cracking little community boozer - something that had seemingly disappeared with the endless gastro-pub refurbishments, Weatherspoons conversions, and pub closures.
While the atmosphere and small size might not suit everyone, I found this to be quite an enjoyable pub - especially during the Ireland v England 6 Nations rugby match!
I'd reccommend it for a visit, if not for the award-winning Guinness, pool-table, and up-to-date jukebox, then for the feel of a friendly 'local' establishment.

This tiny pub looks totally out of place siding up against the 13 storeys of the Premier Inn. Its very estate like and walking up towards the entrance I noticed the obligatory motorised wheelchair that is to be found outside most estate pubs! It is away from the main road, so unlike many pubs along King Street there is outside seating at the front.
As said before it is an Irish pub, but not so in-your-face as some Irish pubs can be. No real ale was spotted, but there is plenty of lager etc to choose from and the very friendly barmaid will serve you with a smile.
The pool table is an added bonus and I would say to anyone passing by to ignore the exterior and give it a go as youll be pleasantly surprised.

Visited this small Irish-style bar when England were playing Ireland in the cricket world cup. Could have been a bit awkward, but there was plenty of friendly banter between supporters of the two teams watching the action on the big screens. Overall, quite a pleasant surprise.

This is a fantastic retro local bar with a huge selection of drinks. It has award winning Guiness. It also stocks Fruli. It has a large beer garden at the front with a pool table, eclectic jukebox and big screens for sport. A large Irish client base.
