Rose And Crown, Wellingback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Your bog standard pub done out in identikit pubco fashion. Okay if nowhere else to go but I didn't fancy risking the ale on offer and went for a lager.

The female bar staff on a Thursday evening are rude, common and let the pub down. One in particular has a terrible attitude. Will try another evening.

Quite a nice friendly pub, some seating outside (abit too near the trafiic though, carbon monoxide in abundance). Nice garden out back. Bands play from time to time, an old traditional pub, worth a visit if close-by

I to use this pub, the staff I must say are wonderful whats left of them always a friendly welcome. I agree totally about the Landlady appears friendly but take note of some of your staff they are worth there weight in gold. Note I said some, 2 to be exact. Keep up the dancing girls, your what keep the pub going.

Used to use this pub but it's not the same since the old landlord left. Does anyone know where he,Simon, is these days as I would really like to meet up with him. Heard a rumour that his son, Danny, had joined the army does anyone know whether this is true. Like Marshall said it is such a shame that this pub has gone down hill. Come back Si all is forgiven!

The once loyal , local customers that frequented this once well known and highly respected pub have seem to have had a huge change of heart. The landlady has taken up and moved in one of her old regulars (words on everyone lips is , who runs this pub now ???? ) The atmosphere certainly has taken a turn for the worst. Here you have a landlady that only appears to be friendly. Has lost a lot of clientele and is rapidly going down hill. Such a shame !!

I apologize for my previous date arrear. I actually meant the evening of Sat 18th August 2007

I walked into The Rose And Crown with some friends the evening of Sat 20th August and was more than pleasantly surprised, live music, the fact if seems to cater more for the older clientele (defiantly not for youngsters) which makes it all the better .
The pub was jam packed, even though the staff were working flat out, I didnt have to wait long to be greeted and served with the biggest smile and terrific banter (personally I quickly finished my drink, just to be served again).
Totally awesome atmosphere and good beer into the bargain.
I would recommend this pub 100%

Had a lunchtime visit here a few weeks ago. Very nice. Pub was busy for the time of day, everyone knew each other and they made me and my friends feel very welcome.
In response to earlier comment, the landlord is actually an ex Millwall player. Both him and his wife are very nice people.
Beer is very good as well, although don't expect a huge range.

I paid a visit to The Rose & Crown a few months ago (Nov 6th to be precise) and found it to be a scruffy, run-down and extremely tired looking pub, yet with a seemingly good community spirit. It was certainly friendly enough on my visit. I presume the owner or owners are hardened Millwall supporters as the pub is littered with framed shirts and photos. At 2.60 or thereabouts for a pint of Fosters, it could perhaps be a little cheaper, though judging by how busy it was on my midday visit, it obviously isnt too much of a deterrent to I presume, the pubs very loyal and local customer base. I doubt Ill be making a return visit anytime soon, but I certainly wouldnt attempt to deter anyone from popping in for a swift one or even those looking for a place to make their new local. I liked it, in a way.
