Traditional exterior, but unexpectedly modernised inside. Simply furnished, but the place has a bright feel. 'L'-shaped bar with pool table towards the rear. Two large screens for the sports fans, and a beer garden out back. No real ale, so had to make do with a pint of Greene King IPA Smooth (�2.50).

i was bought up in the area recently started going in there again and what a cracking little proper run and family type pub it is, beer good music good banter top notch , one of those everyone knows everyone pubs and knowing how some in cheshunt are full of wanna be chav 16 yr olds its a real pleasure to be going in here again, xmas eve karaoke quality real quality.

Went here because it was a friend's local. What a characterless dump! And with a bar manageress from hell- i dont care if she had a bad day- you dont talk to your customers the way she did! Not a great way to spend a Friday evening! Will not be back. The other bar staff were nice though.

Good, proper pub with friendly staff. Decent beers but didn't try the food.

This is a fantastic my all time fave pub, music every weekend including the best karaoke host(jodie stone). Bouncy castle in the garden for the kids. Brilliant. Food everyday from 10.00- 2.00
