Had a fantastic pint of Leeds Pale in here last night. Excellent, large selection of ales on offer as well. Nicely decked out pub with a large(ish) and attractive beer garden. Apparently gets very busy during term time with all the students.

Recently refurbished and now a top rate real ale outlet with 12 handpumps. Big supporter of local micro breweries. Won the Leeds CAMRA Branch award for 'Most improved pub" in Summer 2014. Highly recommended.

Very average, sterile Greene King pub. Wouldn't bother going out of your way for this one - Deuchars and Ruddles Best (!) were on and were average. Tacky and uninspired.

OK place, can get busy with students from the Met. Univ.
Interesting wooden decor.
TV on with sports usually.

Good mix of locals and students. Great atmostphere and friendly staff. Gets busy most nights expecially if they are showing sport. Food served at lunchtimes.

great pub! cheap food (2.45 a meal!), good prices on all pints and a friendly and warm atmosphere. Best pub for a quiet pint and read in leeds!

Since moving from Leeds to London I've yet to find a pub to match Woodies.

Never empty with a great atmosphere.

You never wait(ed) long to get served in this place.

The starting point of the infamous 'Otley Run', Woodies is a mix of mainly local and occasional student groups. They have a selection of nice hand pulls, including the ever wonderful Black Sheep, as well as the usual smoothflows.

Traditional decor, a couple of a slot machines, and some pool tables at the rear of the pub, this is a pretty relaxed place, with the tables near the windows often seeing the odd game of dominos.
