What a find! Only stayed for a pint and a sandwich but will definitely be returning

Good country pub. Cobbled frontage. Found 6 Cheshire beers, with individual tasting notes a nice touch. Services locally sourced food.

We went for lunch last week what a nice village pub offering greay food beer and service well done team Bull!!

Pleasant food-led pub with decently kept beers I'd not seen before. Probably best to visit for the food, but plenty of space for drinkers, and garden area lovely.

This pub has come on leaps & bounds since the apalling state it was in 18 months ago. The current licensee (Tim) has spent a lot of money, most of it very wisely The pub is always busy & welcoming & although I have only eaten there once I would say that by the number & appearance of the food leaving the kitchen that the food must be good too. There are always several draught beers on the go & rarely are they the usual suspects. All are well kept & presented. The only downside ? The pub is now full of trippers from south manchester/Hale/wilmslow & I have yet to have a pint that is served at the right temperature, either bitter or lager.
Shane & Jenny who manage the place do a smashing job & it is so good to see the place busy again. They have certainly overtaken The Roebuck across the road in most fields.
Well done

The Bulls Head, Mobberley is the perfect local village pub, it has roaring fires, home cooked food that is full of flavour, local Cheshire Ales on tap and is a really friendly place too. I travel 23 miles to visit the Bulls Head because there is nothing as good nearer to me.says everything about the Bulls Head really.

Visited two days ago for first time in about 12 months-ish. Has undergone a bit of a 'freshen-up' with benches and pub tables beiong removed and replaced by 'restaurant' tables and chairs being put in . Now seems to have a larger menu and be a bit more geared towards food - possibly to pick up overflow trade from the Roebuck across the road? Looks nicer now but has lost a bit of the atmospherre in being done up.

More of a drinkers local than the Roebuck over the road. Sociable, Sky Sports and 4 real ales including 2 guests. Black Sheep Ennerdale was excellent.
