Very expensive, crowdede and focussed on food
Full of wannabe hipsters sprawled in self-consciously wacky eccentric seating bragging to a bland accompaniment of nu-soul. Promised five real ales but only two were on - is it too much trouble to turn the taps around? A soulless but, in the interests of balance, very clean experience.
it is now a youngs pub doing food, but very expensive.
Visited the pub with friends on Saturday night. A welcome addition to the area. Keep up the good work.
Dropped in here last Friday - the Weasel was very poor - dead as a doornail - and the Bonobo little better.
They have now got another own brew beer, called Weasel which is pretty good , a good addition to the Monkey beer.It is a very friendly pub that seems to always have a good soundtrack on.To Mister "im not convinced it is" Its a bloody marvellous idea, especially as London has, in the main a limited selection,Youngs ,Fullers ,Adnams ,Greene King ,Yawn Yawn Yawn.

Dear Sparky1,
can't take credit for Budvar dark, that is down to Budvar's head brewer (somewhat of an expert in his field).....
neither can i take credit for 'brewing our own beer'. That goes back as far as Ancient Egypt. However, the friendly barstaff and reasonably priced menu is all down to us.
Cheers
Brewing your own beer - is it really a good idea? I'm not convinced it is.
Black Budvar - a good idea? I'm certainly not convinced it is.
Saying that the Cock and Hen is certainly an improvement on the old Cock. The bar staff are friendly, it was quite empty when I went in but none of the punters seemed to be the recipients of recent ASBOs and the decor was generally okay. I didn't eat but the menu seemed reasonably priced.
All in all, better than it was before but not good enough to become a regular haunt.
The Bonobo ale brewed on the premises is superb and good value at 2.50. Sam Smiths Extra Stout is available and tasted even better than from the Cittie of Yorke. Good selection of other ales and lagers, but no Fosters, Carling, Carlsberg etc. Beer garden available if you want a smoke as the Pub has gone for non-smoking before 1st July. Sky lights help brighten up an otherwise dark interior.
Visited for the first time since it re-opened at the week-end. The Bonobo Ale has a unusually pronounced fruityness balanced by the hops. I liked it but probably not to everyones taste, however, Adnams Regatta & Explorer also available. so beer choice now excellent for the area. Less convinced by the decor but nothing too objectionable. The food is on the expensive side but also looked above average quality (didn't try it).
All in all a massive improvement. Oh, and on Chelsea match days it's "diners only" access!

been in a few times now with work mates and although it's a bit on the quiet side at the moment it's great. staff are really friendly, and the service is fab. drinks order taken then brought to your table! even included an ice bucket for the rose without asking. mamnager who served us was great (lovely bum!)and attentive in a good way. will def. be back again.
As reported recently, this pub has re-opened as a brewpub, renamed 'Cock & Hen'.
The brewing equipment is visible near the entrance but the Bonobo beer couldn't be sampled when I visited as owing to demand there wasn't any available.
Three handpumps, no crap lager sold, continental bottled beers available, now the pub has gone up-market you get your change on a tray.
Didn't notice whether any screens were there.
The pub is nonsmoking, sadly the smell of fried fish pervaded the atmosphere.
Apparently now re-opened as a brew pub, with their own beer, Bonobo. Smoking is not permitted.
A visit in the near future to check it out is on the cards!
closed for refurb - by the team behind the clarence & the bishop

Nice big pub, not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Pool table. I agree with the previous reviewer in my love of Cock.

Good standard pub, nothing special but worth coming to if passing. Large number of screens for watching the football and relatively cheap drinks and meals. I love cock!

occasionaly pop in on chelsea matchdays , quick service and very good atmosphere, nice little beer garden out back, non match days is good for quick cheap bite to eat, good jukbox aswell
Has done me and my mates proud over the years. Top pub with top people.
Haven't been in for ages, used to find West Country Blues in b4 a game. I'll definitely make a visit next time we're up based on these reviews, hope we won't be disappointed.
I have used this pub on and off for ten years, always before Chelsea games. There was one bad spell when it thought it was an All Bar One, but has recovered in the last couple of years. For footie fans it's a great pub, they always manage quick service, have all the live games on, the beer's cold, and the atmosphere's great. By far the best pre-footie pub in Fulham.
i love this pub with all my heart because it is the first pub in fulham that i went into when i first came up from cornwall to stay with my brothers. one of them works in the cock and he's gorgeouse so all the girls need to go in there to see him. if you like football tthen go in there when there is a big match on cos the atmosphere is electric. beers good service is amazing and the locals are fantastic.

was in here before the game on saturday against Bolton, and made the mistake of going back afterwards. It might have been a little bit busy, but does that warrant the level of service i received, not nice and management need to increase customer service levels in order to compete with decent pubs in the area, like Slug an Lettuce or White Hart.
The Cock is a great pub, now has plasma screens and a pool table. Staff are frendly, foods cheap enough, down to earth pub grub. Fantastic patio garden at rear a must to visit if in Fulham but avaiod on Chelsea home games as its mad. 10 out of 10 top pub.
Above average bar on Fulhams North End Road.Staff aren't bad, beers ok. Some of the customers are a little 'odd',but it all adds to the character of the place.
there was a blonde sort who used to work behind the bar cant remember her name but she went to a party with me one night but thats a different story. not a bad pub glad some one else knows about the scary headphone drinker. and the dart playing transvestite thingy.
Great Pub, great people, good service! Realy spent good time in there in 3 nights...the 3rd one especially!!!!
Was my local when I lived down the road and is still the first port of call for me and hundreds of others before games at Stamford Bridge. Great sofas, nice bar staff, good beer. Haven't eaten there in a while, but food used to be well above average pub grub.

Its quite empty when i've been but has a hardcore few regulars. A young guy who stands at the bar with headphones on and gets drunk as a skunk on his lonesome every time i've been there. The bar staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cool as its away from all the yuppies in the surrounding gentrified fulham broadway bars.

Incidentally - if you pay by debit card, your statement leaves out the "The". So you might end up spending 10 on "Cock"!

Used to do good food before corporate style make-over took away the interesting menu and replaced it with laminated-pub-food-menu-of-banality. All the usual suspects, although nicely done. Slightly devoid of atmosphere except for the handful of people perpetually avoiding AA meetings. Nice layout. Sofas at the back by the fireplace are nice way of spending sunday. Relaxed half-way house between a wannabe gastropub and a local boozer.

Been past it many times, never been in. But I like the fact that it's there, because for some reason it amuses me that its called the Cock. That's because I'm very, very childish.

Lived in 13 dawes road from June -Dec 78 and this pub was almost home for the Aussies. Loved the talent quest nights, We used to order Beer and Ice, there was a bowl of ice on the bar to keep the beer cold. The fisho's used to come along with cockles and muscles. Great Memories

Visited on Sun 2nd Feb 2003. Friendly Staff. Sadly this pub no longer has a pinball machine, apparently they got rid of it about a year ago. Normally does 3 real ales although unfortunately none were on when I visited due to Chelsea supporters drinking them dry the day before.
