Had a pint of the black stuff, nicely poured. They were setting up the karaoke when I made a sharp exit. Looks OK but a typical fake Irish pub.

Reopened under the name "Mulligans". Had a bit of a refit. Looks OK but have not had a drink there yet.

Now closed

Just opened after a refit had a quick pint last week not changed too much inside, the floor has been sanded and looking good. Money spent on the toilets (needed) not been in there though.

DAAAAZZZZZA is back for three weeks but I think it will be extended.
Good old days, pub rocking.
|
New owners now.
Jackie from the Drill Gidea Park. Sarah is the Manageress. I hear the Friday disco is going down well and Saturday is live music night with karaoke on a Sunday. Not had a chance to go down there but it has to be better than it has been.
|
Had the Sunday roast dinner last week, excellent fresh home cooked food not your ready meal variety. I can honestly say that the beef was the best that I have ever had.
|
Got to disagree with you margarite I Had a very enjoyable time in there last Sunday evening very relaxed and friendly.

What a SHOCKER, Diane and Joe did a superb job of turning round this pub in such a short time, since April 08, and now the stupid owners have got their family in and its dreadful once again - dross back in- unless you want a fight keep away!
|
New owners in the past week got to be a change for the better the previous landlady was miserable.
|
i been there recently it has been taken over again and everyone in the area has seen the change and says the pub is much better the food has started again and it is very good, there is music there every friday and saturday nights they are good fun nights why not pop in and see for youself

Food isnt too bad there although i have only eaten there once.. Its a proper poky little place but in the current climate of gastro pubs and chain pub cloning this is a good thing. Has recently been taken over and has been empty most of the times i have been there lately.
|
A nice little pub, but can get very packed on a market day. Evenings are not so bad, it has a nice little raised section on the left hand side I believe for people who are eating there.
