Lovely pub restaurant. Excellent food, friendly staff, gorgeous location. Well worth the trip. The new owners have transformed this place. Well done.

Great pub in a great location. Atmosphere even on a Tuesday night in January! New owners have brought in a great chef - food highly recommended. Don't miss this little gem if you are in the area.

quite difficult to be less friendly than current landlord. deserted at Easter except for a few passing walkers and cyclist.
locals appear to avoid as well, shame, brilliant location

Lovely "no frills" little pub with really friendly owners. Facilities are quite basic for camping but the welcome is so lovely and the staff are more than helpful with everything we've ever asked of them. Can't wait to come back!

Nice Picture, maybe we could have a competition for best photograph of a pub. This could be quite a contender!

Nice spot by the river, though can be busy with campers from the adjacent site, so maybe not for Summer weekends. Well-served local beers (Wye Valley etc.). Can't comment on food - the kitchen was still out of action following flooding when I visited, but we'll go back to try it.

Fabulous river-side campsite with a warm welcome to all. Regional real ale kept extremely well. Local cider on draft. Friendly locals. Locally sourced food cooked to your liking. Camping in the grounds of a pub: tell me - what could be better? Good old fashioned landlord: very accommodating.
