UPDATE!! This place is open and still called Hoopers - it was the Ivanhoe until ,ooo abt 4 years ago. Much improoved - the owners try hard and have a rnge of real ales and guest ones too. Give em a go, loads of houses around here served by this pub - we dont want to loose another one!

If you enjoy a noisy and scary drink with extras from Mad-Max and Vicky Pollard's teenage mates, then this is the pub for you ! Well overdue a bit of t.l.c. and a makeover - How can any pub chain miss the opportunity to operate a successful local pub in such a gentrified area ? Tis a mystery....

this place is a dump. it stinks of smoke, the beer is terrible and the regulars are all freaks. visit at your peril.

Always guaranteed a seat in here and you can get to watch just about any Sky Digital programme on offer if you ask. Alright for a very quiet pint, but I think a big group of non-regulars in there would just look ridiculous

I think this pub is great. Cut off from the usual Camberwell crowd. This is the place to come if you fancy a nice quiet pint and a game or two of pool. Also, the big screen is perfect for the footy.

I love this pub, there's never anyone in it - I always get to play on the pool table, chuck some darts and nosh on some average bar snaks whilst drinking pints. All this within a peanuts throw from my house...perfect. Long live the Ivanhoe !

In need of a compleate make over the place could be such a wondefull place with a little imaginatin could be a star local community pub.
