GREAT PUB!!!!! Been here a lot recently and I can't fault it! The staff, locals and beer is excellent! would definately recommend.

No real ale and a pint of flat watery guinness that was revolting even though the old guy behind the bar advised that "there was nothing wrong with it" and refused to swap it,2/10

Recently re vamped. Quite nice in there now. You dont stick to the carpet anymore. Quite a lot of young people in there when I visited. Young man behind the bar very friendly and served a good pint.

I think that it has finally had that lick of paint. Decent beer, quirky juke box and a quiz machine that actually pays out when you win.

Great little pub - grotty on the outside, but the locals make for a good atmosphere. Paul is right - the whole pub is a hole in the space/time continuum - it last saw a lick of paint about 30 years ago.

Looks awful from outside but is slightly better once you're in. The friendly locals and staff more than make up for the surroundings, though. Interestingly, the pub contains a hole in the space/time vortex as I played darts in there once and one of mine bounced out the board and was never seen again.
