Decent boozer with nice Guinness - it has a nice ambiance to it and we enjoyed our time in there - less busy lunctimes. No real ale though which tbf to them appears to be the norm in Ireland

Dublin"s pub of the year as the banner outside proclaims!and it looks like they have kept all the ornate plaster work, fixtures and fittings from it"s days as a bank and just added a horseshoe bar in the middle,one to impress your mates if they have"nt been before.Usaul drinks behind the bar served in the proper glasses !!more of a Smithwicks man myself than the black stuff,and it was fine

This building is an old converted bank which is indeed a jewel of victorian architecture.

It is probably one of the most superior pubs in Dublin. a jewel of Victorian commercial architecture.You will find no contemporary innovations here, no fickle or trendy affectations that you see in other licenses premises. What you are encoutnering here is a very different type of pub expereience: a licenses premises that has been adapted to the unique, unspoilt and authentic environs of a Victorian bank. It is a fusion of today^s world with the past but strictly within the ground rules of yesteryear. Perfect ambiance and the staff is really following their slogan "What can we do for you".....prices are fairly high but IT IS WORTH IT :-)!!!

Extremely new & trendy bar, with an amazing stained-glass ceiling which is nice to look at when you are half-cut :)
