Sells itself as a gastropub. I didn't eat as was well past lunch but sampled the Randalls VB - the only ale on handpump. Would go again.

Visited this pub on a recent holiday to Guernsey. The member of staff that served us was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the main bar was nice; seemed to be a few groups of office workers amongst others, all very pleasant. We ate in the upstairs dining room, and the food was excellent and good value for money. I would recommend this pub for a casual drink and also for dinner.

A nice looking pub but the french barman is an extremely rude individual and I urge fellow guerns never to step foot inside this pub as his ignorance is completely uncalled for

went in last week a couple of times and basically they have painted the place and employed a couple of more 'professional looking' staff. i was hoping for more changes myself, so its a bit of a disappointment but at least its miles better than before. dont think the old soaks will agree though - they will get forced out before long.

Has always been dull and lifeless but is due to open any day now after a total refurbishment and thankfully is now owned by one of the big private investors in the catering industry. Expect to pay a little bit more than before but in much nicer surroundings and with much more on offer generally.

One of the few remaining "pubs" in Guernsey
