Derehams Inn, Loudwaterback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
This pub is tucked away up a narrow lane just off the A40 and very close to an M40 junction. You wouldn't know it was here, unless you'd been told. It has a lovely feel to it. Although the bar layout is a little awkward and difficult to access. 4 ales were on and they were from varied breweries - Brew Foundation Little Bitter That, Loddon Bamboozle, Fuller's London Pride & Arundel Castle. Dogs are certainly welcomed. There is an outdoor area at the rear.

The Derehams Inn is housed in a building that began life as two farm workers cottages in the 18th century, and keeps a very traditional English pub feeling with low ceilings, open fires in winter and, from the exposed ceiling beams, a collection of pewter jugs and horse brasses, and for this alone it is worth seeking out. The internal one room L shaped space is quite small around a central bar serving area and is organised into a couple of comfortable and intimate areas and out back there is a very pleasant largely secluded beer garden. On the ale front this is a Free house and there are three pumps on the bar. The regular ales are London Pride, Brakspear and Youngs bitter which are usually on two of the pumps , and then there is a rotating guest beer on the other. For my visit last week the Pride and Brakespears were supported by a Bitter from the Binghams brewery in Twyford. Solid pub for a decent pint and well worth finding if you want to avoid going into High Wycombe (and no-one will blame you for that).

Very pleasant welcoming pub on the Wednesday night, free cake by the bar. 4 ales on, of which Loddon Chantry Cheer, Rebellion & Braks bitter were on. Worth an evening of anybody's time. Yards away from the bus routes on the Loudwater road..

Absolutely brilliant traditional pub! Good real ales, well kept, at least 4 on tap, including Loddens, Pride, Bombardier, friendly staff very comfortable, a real find will return!

Great selection of ever-changing real ales often from local breweries. 2 darts teams in the local league, seafood specials on a Sat night, new outdoor covered smoking area. They also had their 1st beer festival last month with 27 ales available.
